General Spirituality and Woo

Transhumanist psychology has a bad reputation, and frankly…there’s enough bullshit out there that it’s not hard to see why. That bathwater sometimes has some baby in it though as we begin to discover the outer limits of meditation, the power of self-suggestion (placebo or no), and the power of story and narrative to expand the limits of human achievement. I’ve always been fascinated by what we can achieve when we don’t have a sledgehammer of skepticism crushing whole categories of human experience because they overlap with or are adjacent to superstition.
Magick- Call it what you will (and I have my theories) but we can tell ourselves stories that become true.
Tarot- I have a bit of a knack at divination. Call it intuition and skill with narrative if you want, or maybe I have a patron deity of prophecy slipping me the answers. Either way, I will do a tarot read for a small fee—or half price if you’ll let me blog the results.
Woo Mailbox- Write me questions through our CONTACT PAGE and pick the option “Woo Mailbox” from the drop down menu, but please check first to see if your question has already been answered.
Woo F.A.Q.- Specific questions that come up a lot (in person or through the mailbox).
