I am a pagan priest who works (exclu­sive­ly) with an Irish deity called The Mor­ri­g­an. She is a god­dess of bat­tle and war, prophe­cy, mag­ic, sov­er­eign­ty, change, and fate. Her nature is a com­pli­cat­ed one, and every attempt to defin­i­tive­ly under­stand her nature leads to a deep­er labyrinth of nuance, iden­ti­ty, and com­plex­i­ty.

While I do not claim any sort of author­i­ty (as my priest­hood call­ing is to a life­time of ser­vice not to be a theo­crat), and while aca­d­e­m­ic knowl­edge of pri­ma­ry sources about The Mor­ri­g­an beyond that of a ground­ed priest I will write my expe­ri­ences, my insights as US pagan priest of an Irish deity, and plen­ty of unver­i­fied per­son­al gno­sis.

The Call­ing- My expe­ri­ence being called by Her­self to serve her and even­tu­al­ly to serve my com­mu­ni­ty
Visions- In dreams, on sub­stances, and in delib­er­ate­ly invoked altered states of con­scious­ness I have expe­ri­enced Her as show­ing me visions. I will share those here as long as no one thinks I’m try­ing to shape a reli­gion, change a deity, or relate any­thing more than a per­son­al expe­ri­ence.
