Just a quick personal/meta update today as I turn around and do fifteen things at once behind the scenes.
Every two years I am required to do a handful of continuing education units to maintain my personal trainer certification through NASM, and the time is nearly upon me. So I spent last week and early this week going to CPR certification, learning about GROUP personal training, and learning about how to help people who are on GLP‑1 drugs with their fitness journeys.
I was also deep in the side-gig soup. Babysitting. Pet sitting. I even helped someone move. These things move in ebbs and flows and while I would love to get ten hours a week, sometimes it’s 30 and sometimes it’s zero.
And…(as if that weren’t plenty) I’ve got a routine outpatient surgery coming up. It’s laparoscopic (and unlike the tumor removal 5 year ago will not need a laparotomy) but it is still abdominal surgery, and will put me on some loopy painkillers for several days.
Still there are great posts coming soon, a couple of new ones going up in the next couple of days, and whole new projects I’m about to get into, but I will go into more detail about specifics in May’s Newsletter to my patrons. (I would love to have you as a patron, and the newsletter is our lowest tier reward—I’m holding out as long as I possibly can to keep this at ONLY $3 a month. And you can save even MORE if you buy a year at a time.)
So stay tuned.…
